After almost 20 years of planning, a breakthrough has now been achieved: The first construction phase for the newPark has been decided. Equipped with planning rights for 60 hectares of marketable industrial space, newPark Managing Director Andreas Täuber set off for EXPO REAL in Munich, where he met with great interest. The UMBAU21 magazine has now reported on this. “In Munich, we were able to hold promising talks that will open up exciting prospects for the Emscher-Lippe region,” he told UMBAU21. “We have 60 hectares of commercial space here with building rights – you won’t find that anywhere else in NRW. That gives some investors a pulse.” The great response at the trade fair made him proud, Andreas Täuber continued. “And these are ‘only’ the first 60 hectares of a total of 156 hectares of marketable industrial space. We have thus sent out a clear signal for the Emscher-Lippe region in Munich. We are a force to be reckoned with in the future!” commented Andreas Täuber on the exciting days in Munich after his return to the Ruhr region.
